Ruby Alaska Summer 2006
We had a total of six people visit this summer and everyone went home with some gold despite the rainy weather that somewhat dampened the enthusiasm. The largest nuggets detected were in the 1/2 ounce range. While no huge nuggets were discovered everyone had a good time as one visitor wrote when he got home: Swift creek was awesome. I had a great time. I hope to return. The food was great and the people were too. We came up a little short on the gold but hopefully the next group will do better. I would definitely recommend the trip to anyone. It was tough to leave.
